exporting files from compuserve

Ok here is the situation. We used to use Compuserve for e-mail but have stopped a few years ago. My dad still has verson 4.0.2 on his computer which he can use offline to view his old e-mails, in case he needs the information in them. He wants to upgrade to windows XP, but compuserve version 4.0.2 is not compatible. So he is upgrading to 5.0 and then 7.0. The problem is ho does not know if he will be able to access these files offline. He will be using the free trial to get the software, and then just not sign up. What we need to know is if it is possible to import a "personal fild foler" from compuserve into microsoft outlook.? Any helps would be appreciated.
thanks
