web host bandwidth limit

What will it take to exceed a 5 GB monthly bandwidth limit on a simple web page thats about 1 MB in size? I don't know how it works, is it for an example, if i have a 5 Gb file for down load on my web page and 2 people download it, i'm over? Or what if somebody sits there with nothing better to do but click on refresh to reload the page all day long , is that all counted?

If it's 1Mb in size it's not a simple webpage. However, as you suppose, everything counts, even if someone just sits there refreshing your simple 1Mb page.
