D/l'd newest version and one change that I see is the splash screen on start-up. Is there a way to eliminate it through the registry? If so, what do I look for?
Thank you,
Carl

For the splash screen in Black Ice Defender, all you have to do is find the folder it's kept in, and delete the image (saving space/ time/ annoyance). I imagine this would work for zone alarm also. Keep the image around until you find out if it works.

Thanks madthumbs. First thing I looked for was the image folder and couldn't find it. I'll look further and see what I can find.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Carl - I don't think you can. This is a minor inconvenience to use a great free product. It doesn't hurt anything.

I've been wondering about that also. There is a splash_screen.gif in C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\Help\images. I opened it, and it is the pesky little start-up screen. Will deleting it do the trick, or could it cause other problems?
