Usually (I mean the way it should work), in Netscape the preferences menu gives you a choice between "Appearance (or something like this), Mail & Newsgroups, Composer, Offline, and Advanced." Not in my case. Using 4.76, my preferences does not show any tree for Appearance or Advanced. This happened before, and I reinstalled. I took it as one of those things the computer decided to do because it wanted to. But seeing as how it happened twice, I believe it has to be something else. No virus, so rule that out. I have been running two profiles on and off, and neither have these options. Can not find anything relative in the js options files.

I'm stumped, any suggestions?

Respectfully,

Demosthenes
