Free Spam blockers?
Are there any free Spam blockers available? I've only been able to find 30 day trials. How about the non-pro version of mailwasher?

Well, I just installed it and blacklisted some addresses that were spamming me. We'll see how it goes in a few hours when some spam should be rolling in.

I have a HUGE block list, with no wildcards. If you like, I can email it to you.

Sure! Thanks
![]() Just one thing though, what are wildcards? (you've got to remember now, I've only worked with this program for about 10min.) Btw, I caught my first spam message. It was sure easy to get rid of!

A "wildcard" is commonly used to denote multiple instances.
If you wish to block ALL email from AOL, then you would use "*@aol.com" and the * will block everything. After having the same email address for 15 years, the spam really piles up, and what used to be 350 or more every day, is down to less than 30, all thanks to mailwasher. |

I came across a couple of programs, one looks promising and the other I haven't checked out yet.
http://popfile.sourceforge.net - Not as friendly as mailwasher, but it looks like a great way of preventing getting more spam or noticing your getting more .The other one is called Tagged Message Delivery Agent, I haven't search for their website, but from what I have read it is installed on the mail server itself and acts as a whitelist/blacklist gateway. I have my doubts about this one.
