free web space
Does anyone know where I would find someplace that gives free web space, and also allows ftp uploads?

Possibly here: www.freeservers.com or www.freakhost.com
I think they have file size limitations, though.

If you are looking for a place to just store files, then some of the sites mentioned above may work. If you are looking for a freebie place that allows linking though, good luck. I was looking for a free site awhile back that I could store things like pictures and smilies on so I could use them on boards like this one. I couldn't find a single one that allowed remote linking like that. There were several that allowed it with even the lowest PAID accounts though. And they weren't overly expensive either (I'm just a penny-pincher).
