ebay connection problem
Since yesterday I have been having problems getting connected to ebay. I can get to any other web sites ok. Has anyone else been experiencing this? I'm thinking it's a problem with their site since I can go anywhere else.

re:
Their site was up for me. Try dumping temp internet files and resetting cookies. Should help.

That didn't work. It seems hit and miss, sometimes I can get to my bookmarked page but then can't navigate within the site. And other times I can't get in at all. Just tried accessing from Google with no luck. beerman |

Well, it's refreshing to see I'm not the only one with a problem. This thing has been driving me nuts for two days now. Maybe it IS ebay and we just have to be patient and see what happens. At one point I did manage to get to their info page but there was no mention of any access problems. I'm using IE6SP1 with default settings. I did upgrade my Nvidia driver from 41.09 to 43.45 and on the longshot that that was the problem I reverted to 41.09 and problem persisted.

I found that if the page only half loads and says "done, but with errors" if I hit refresh it will load. I just have to hit refresh after I go to another page

I've tried that too, more often than not I get "page cannot be displayed" and refresh doesn't work either. In "add remove programs" I've tried repairing IE to no avail. I was going to try reverting back to previous version of IE, but that box is grayed out and not an option. Think I will try uninstalling with third party software and install IE 5 from my Win 98SE disc and see what happens. Also thought of installing 98 over the top. beerman beerman |

I've had a similar issue lately - I use Opera, and I have issues very much like yours on Intel's site - but it works great with Mozilla. Go figure.

Well, whatever the problem was it seems to be ok now. This AM I am able to navigate from page to page without any problems. Was it an ebay problem? who knows. Anyway I'm happy it's working again.
