Mozilla- not connecting
Hi, I've been using Mozilla for a while now and up until now it's been problem and pop-free, unlike IE which caused me a lot headaches. However since yesterday when I launch Mozilla I am no longer prompted with the "dial-up connection" window and have to connect to the net seperately. I have scoured the tool bars and can find nothing to restore this. There are no "always connect using"or "never connect" options. All I get when I start my browser is "was unable to find my home page, please check adress". It must be something really simple that I am overlooking, but its got me. Any ideas?
Many thanks Steve |

Go to Control panel, Internet Options, Connections tab and see if "Always dial my default connection is checked.

Thanks Roger, I checked again in Internet options just to make sure that I hadn't missed that one, and it was checked. I have resoved the matter by upgrading to Mozilla 1.3 and now the "dial up network" window appears. I have no idea what what I was doing wrong or had missed.
Thanks a lot anyway. Steve |
