Question Browser question

Many webpages have some sort of logo/icon image to replace the document icon in their browsers. My question is why is it that I can see them in Opera7, but not IE6 SP1?

Here are shots:

IE=BAD,BROKEN.
Opera=BORK BORK!

sometimes it work,sometimes it doesnt. same goes with bookmarks.sometimes in ie,the bookmarks show up with those icons,sometimes they dont

i think those icons are logo.ico(might be wrong) that is placed in the site's www folder.

I know it's been a while for this thread, but my question wasn't answered and it has been bugging me recently.

Why do the icons show up in Opera, but not in IE6 or IE6 SP1?

Okay, I guess I should be asking: Can I get the icon to show up like in Opera?
