Yahoo Chat

Hey all...

I'm having a problem logging in to Yahoo Chat that I haven't been able to figure out yet.

When I try to login, the applet loads...says logging into the system, and hangs there. I checked security and privacy settings, set to medium. Tried resetting web settings, restored defaults, turned off firewall (both XP and Sygate). Cleared cookies...all to no avail.

Am i possibly missing something?

Has this always happen with Yahoo or was it working right at first?

If it was working right then messed up:
What changes have you made prior to it not logging on?
Have you tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it?
How long has it been doing this?

I had that problem several months ago - upgrading to the latest version fixed it.

Don't be to quick to blame your computer , I've had similar problems and waiting till later in the day has fixed them more than once.
Although I too did the upgrade.

I'm using XP Pro/IE 6 sp1.

I don't think it ever worked. I'll try uninstalling/reinstalling and see what happens, thanks
