I'm using an Creative Blaster DSL modem and am suscribed to a broadband service. I experience fast surfing speeds (i.e. webpages load fast) but slow download speeds (averaging 3.0+ kpbs only!) Can somebody tell me whats wrong?

Is there any difference between downloading from a HTTP server or an FTP Server? FTP slow, HTTP fast. If so, it's possible that your provider uses bandwidth throttling on port 21.
