Angry Fire Internet Pop Ups

I am having trouble with pop ups on internet explorer 6 i have tried using adware removers and cleaning up registry etc to no avail is there an easier way to stop pop ups coming up without paying for these software titles advertised on download.com

This has only recently started as i did not used to get so many seems to be every poage i open now another opens with www.n64.com or traffic something or pc tuneup argghhhhhhhhh help me someone

I use Zone Alarm Pro (firewall) but there are freebies out there. Pop Up Stoppers can be found. Alot of folks use Mozilla as a browser (free) and it also isn't as vulnerable to security breaches as IE.

The only way if you don't want external programs is to stop using IE.

GoDaddy has released a popup killer. It is supposed to be very good. Haven't tried it yet as it is fee-based.

Mozilla blocks pop-ups.

Pop-up blocker from panicware is free and works great. I have been using it for about 6 months now.

Go to analogx.com there he has a nice little free one called POW that works really well.
