Outlook Express Won't Save Password

I have a customer running Internet Explorer 6.0 and Outlook Express 6.0 on Windows ME. Outlook Express will not save her password. The password is saved in the Dailup, no problem there. But everytime she opens Outlook Express she has to type in her password. The Save Password box is checked inside Outlook Express, but it will not save the password. After you put in the password, if you go back to check it, the Save Password box is still checked but the password box is empty.

Any ideas?
