Does Ignoring Colors Specified On Web Pages Speed Up Browser?
To speed up browsing with IE, I often disable the show pictures option. Recently I also disabled the Ignore Colors Specified On Web Pages option under Accessibility and that seems to pick up speed even more. Can anyone confirm that turning off the color makes a difference in speed. It would seem logical as things like black and white photos have smaller file sizes than colored ones and so there would be less info to download.

i have dial up so i can detect even minute changes. i know for a fact though that color/ size and fonts are very universal things. in other words, they have very little effect if any on loading times. to prove this chnage all three things at once and the browser page will POOF! change them instantly.
After all the code that denotes color/ size and font is this: (depends on html, vb etc.) But i dont think that is a very big difference.
