participation level on kazaa
does the participation level on kazaa give u any privlidges? (prob spelt wrong, if so, sorry)
when my level was high and i downloaded a song it would go down about 10 points, then i got to guru 351 and i would get 2 songs and it went down 100 points can anyone explain why i recently got kazaa lite cos i was sick of pop ups now my level is kazza lite master 1000 and my points dont go down at all |

The more you upload, the higher your participation level.
The more you download, the lower your participation level. If you and someone else are trying to download the same file, the user w/ the higher participation level will get priority. Here is the glossary definition from KaZaa. |

Higher level = less wait time.
Supreme being used to be earned, now kazaalite is out, everyone is supreme. I just set mine at 666 and leave it

you havent really answered my question, it was why does the participation level go down so much while i was guru than it did when i was high

HackinCowboy's link has your answer. The way it rates the participation level
(MB up)/(MB down) * 100 you loss much more participation points the higher your rating for the same download. |
