Question Which is better, hotmail in Outlook Express or web browser?

So which is better? I use hotmail for all those spam, forums replies and newsletters. The only thing I hate using a web browser is that I have to open a new web browser to a link everytime I want to reply a BBS. How do I overcome this? By using Outlook?
The second, spam. I get lots of it, around 10 per day-after filtering spcefic words-that is in my inbox. My junk mail has 100's of it. Yahoo does much better job of handling spam.

ok, here is an Idea. I prefer using a webbased email, but I see what you are trying to do. You may want to setup Outlook and just use if for outgoing emails with your hotmail account

I want to setup outlook express so that it becomes like the normal web based hotmail, and if I do that, can I in any way reduce spam. I got this idea from watching the screen savers

You can daisy chain together a number of applications.

I believe that Mail Washer can access Hotmail and download for you, filtering out spam.

You can then use any POP3 mail reader to pull the mail out of Mail Washer and read it.

Not sure, but you might have trouble sending from Hotmail like that unless your mail client was OE in which case you are sweet.

HTH,

David.
