I need some non-brower Ad Blocking download suggestions.

I need to be pointed in the right direction about ad blocking downloads. I don't want a browser mod, just a downloadable proggie like Pop-Up Stopper or something to take out banner ads and stuff.

TIA

I have a great little hosts file if you want
It take a crap lot of pop up sites and when they try to load it just redirects them back to local host 127.0.0.1

it is hosts and you put it in the windows directory, back up your hosts.old first.

there is no extension on it. but you can open it up in notepad or word and look at it. simply delete it to remove it if you don't like it. PM me if you are interested.
