What company do you guys recommend to accomplish this?
Also do I have to have my own server to store all my data such as pictures and/or my actual webpage? Thanks |

You can have your own server, or you can pay someone else to host it.
If you've got broadband and an extra computer it's not terribly complicated to host it, you just need someone to do DNS for you (or do it yourself, although it's a bit complicated if you've never set it up before). Hosting is rather cheap, though, so unless you have static IP addresses from your ISP already and have a machine to do the actual hosting already, shared hosting would probably be a better deal. There are plenty of decent webhosts in the 10 to 20 dollar a month range. |

I use ICDSoft (http://www.icdsoft.com/?hop=whratings.icdsoft) for $5.00 a month, read the reviews here http://www.webhostingratings.com/pla...t-Reviews.html
I also have a .US domain name, readily available and plenty of names to chose from. I registered it here https://www.secureserver.net/firstst...irststep%2Easp for five years at $9.95 a year ($49.75). Dave |
