Thanks Doobie,
I have been hunting and found it in the registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Whazit\Whazit Toolbar\Historys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Whazit\Whazit Toolbar
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARPCache\WhazitWhazit Toolbar
But deleting them from the registry didnt get rid of it. I have to find its hiding spot.
Here is a tool the does get rid of it, while its on.

Download and Install Spybot Search and Destroy from www.lurkhere.com
Right Click on the Internet Explorer icon and go to properties. Or open the browser and go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs and click on Reset Web Settings.
Then run Spybot to get rid of the spyware.
Also on the download page of the Spyware info site download and install Start Page Guard.

I think I had that within the last week or two. I am pretty sure that I just retyped my home page in Internet Options a few times and then it stayed out but I am not sure since I do about 100 things every day and I just can't remember everything. I sometimes get so damn angry at these people that I swear I don't know what I'd do if I ever caught up with one of them- the virus/adware assholes.

I can't even begin to understand what the fun is in screwing millions of people's systems when at least if one of them ever catches up to them could result in a knife in their system and a loss of their lives. They're complete Idiots.

And now even the gambling assholes have got in on this so that you have to type a full web page address with the www or you get a gambling site. All I want to do is vomit when I see such a site. There sure are a lot of things to get aggrevated about.

thanks

thanks morriswindgate, that reads like it will do the trick! I dont feel as bad after reading that, I was getting miffed that I couldn't get rid of it on my own. I really appreciate it.
Harry, believe me, if U had this wonderfull ditty, U'd kno it, because it would still be there, it doesn't go away with a simple changing of the hm pg. This thing is grovved in. I am on total agreement with you though on these people, but with cleaner language of course.
Thanks again
