Do All ISPS Have Same Access Numbers Because Netzero, Juno and Bluelight Do.

Could someone explain this. I just noticed that Netzero, Juno and Bluelight have the same access numbers. Do all ISPs have the same access numbers or something. There sure are a lot of things I don't understand about this stuff.

No. Netzero and Juno have merged. That is the reason for their same numbers. When I was on dial-up and using TDIN, Voyager their numbers were different.

Quite a few ISP's use what's called "megapops" - these are dialin centers operated by a 3rd party such as UUnet, Level3 Communications, Focal Communications, and others.
