internet explorer 6 need quick response
Hi the last time i installed IE 6 was after i formatted the system. i now need to install IE 6 over IE 5 on a friends computer but i need to know if i install it, will her internet settings and emails, address book etc. etc be lost? i need a response promply please. Thanks

internet settings-mostly overwritten..
emails-will be the same..a ok address book? dont know. bookmarks-will be the same. you can do something called backing-up. you can export the settings............ |

I've always done that type of upgrade online from the MS site. Her bookmarks, email, etc should all remain safe.
Also, as noted, you can "export" the bookmarks and cookies to another folder (or floppy) if you want. Go to >File>Import and Export, and follow the instructions.
