N-Case Alert

Even though I turned off my message alerts from services.msc (as stated in an earlier post) and ran Spybot, I'm still getting messages popping up. This new pop-up gives me an n-case Alert. It says:
The system has detected that a third-party application has removed n-case, possibly without your consent. This may cause some programs not to run as expected. Please choose an option below.
*Re-install n-case so that your programs will run as expected.
_Leave n-case n-installed, and clean up any n-case file or settins that remain.
_Remind me later.

It looks so very very official but why do I think it is nothing but absolute slimey garbage adware. I'm getting more angrier at these people every day. There should really be a serious law against this or if the law refuses to do anything than a vigilante squad should take action. I'm really sick of it.

Thank you greatly for the web site on the removal instructions. The problem is that they have adjusted their spy dirt accordingly and non of those solutions worked for me. However, I did a search for msbb and found it in a folder called FLEOK in C: WINNT of Win2000 pro and then deleted it. Hopefully that will resolve the problem.

And by the way, according to the description in the removal instructions are you all aware that this spy dirt gets your real name, address and zip code. I don't know how anyone can stand it.

The best way to prevent it in the first place is stop using IE. If you are using IE, *NEVER* accept a "forced download" without READING what it wants to install, if you blindly click "OK" you deserve all the grief you will get. I've been to websites with Opera where everything is cool (as long as I set it to ID as Opera and NOT IE6), but if I use IE, you would not believe the crap it wants me to install.

I can't believe it, the thing is still on my system. If I were in Washington where 180 Solutions is located, I would BURN their place down.

Maybe I might use Opera sometime but it has to prove to me that it has absolute complete compatibility and that it has features like favorites and History.

I don't accept forced downloads but what many of these adware people do is that when you press the not accept button it installs it on your system anyway.

In the case of N-case alert, they didn't have one but half a dozen ziped files that were somehow downloaded and are now residing in the Spybot recovery folder. The popups come up asking me to install their program. I'm going to delete that entire Recovery folder now to see if that helps.
