Anyone run a Windows bases Mail Server, not Exchange?

I am looking to implement a new Windows bases mail server in the near future. I'm currently using Eudora Worldmail Server, but there has been no support or even upgrades for this application for quite a while. I can't get Exchange approved in our budget.

Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot!

Nate

Lotus maybe? I really dunno about this budget stuff tho.

But Linux is free =) and much of its server applications are just as good if not even more stabler. But I think that would be a long term plan tho.

I don't know if it will do what you need, but Mercury Mail is free and there's a win32 version. www.pmail.com , download it and play with it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was leaning towards a RedHat mail server, but because of previous Unix experiences, the current powers don't like that option. I'll check out the one you recommended. Thanks, GLC.

Thanks. Communigate has a lot of the features I've been looking for, short of dishing out the $$$ for Exchange. I'll demo that one, too.
