I use to have netscape and everytime i downloaded an mp3 file it opened it as a page of code.I have since gotten IE 5 so it's not a problem for me,however a friend of mine just bought a pc with netscape and he has the same problem. We were wondering how can he get netscape to open a mp3 file in windows media player or winamp or any audio player?

Go to edit/preferences/navigator/applications.
Make a new file type, with the extension mp3, and point it toward the executable for your mp3 player for it's associated application. Xayd |
