i am currently running apache 2.0 webserver, and am in the process of writing a php script to allow user accounts and validation. Could anyone point me in the right direction for setting up SSL on my server? i dont mind downgrading to apache 1.3, but with PHP sessions, it is a good idea to have some kind of encryption, except i do not know how to implement it on apache.

test server running winxp pro, and the main server is running redhat 8.0 . either would be useful to have ssl'd up.
