IE6 Problems
I have two problems with IE6. The first one is that every single time I go to like espn.com or try to open up a video window at hbo.com, the ad or video window that pops up does not appear and it is just a blank window with about:blank. How do I fix that? Also, this problem just started three days ago. Everytime I try to type in espn.com or pcmech.com or amazon.com in the web address bar and press enter, it does not register. Sometimes even if I add www, it still does not work. I tried to reinstall IE6, but my version is later and therefore Service Pack 1 wont install. Anyone know how to roll back my version? Any help will be great!! Thanks!

What operating system?
Have you tried control panel, add/remove programs, double click IE and you should get the option to repair or restore a previous version.

some ads have pictures or are pictures. I had a problem almost like yours. Try deleting your temp internet files in your tools window and clearing your history, sometimes your comp wont have enough room in the designated folders to open new or updated sites

I am running on Windows XP, which means that IE6 comes pre-installed and cannot be removed. I tried clearing the temp internet files and history, but the about:blank still comes up on these sites. It seems that using AOL and the browser in that, everything works fine, but using IE6 stand alone I still have the problems.
