Ok well I am trying to download a complete website. It's HSR.com, for a friend(and me I guess
) since he keeps having to reload the different shockwave clips and it gets to be a pain. So anyone have any good programs to download the entire site(everything starting with http://www.homestarrunner.com)? I tried versiontracker and got some really bad ones that just would download up till any of the clips... which is a pain. So if ya got any idea's.. please feel free to tell me about them. Thanks.

I hope this is the right thread to answer to.
I have used sitegrabber and blackwidow. SiteGrabber is freeware and can fliter any type of file you want. It is fairly old, at least my version, and might not handle more complicated sites, but homestar is not really a complex site. The only issue with hsr is that the links are embedded in swf, not html. I am not sure how (if at all) the spider handles this. Let us know. |
