on my A7N8X, I switched the cable to the 3COM port. well it changed my internal IP so I was wondering if I can change it back to what it was.

Open a command prompt, type ipconfig /release all - then from another machine, open the router admin, DHCP client table, and boot off all IP's assigned to the machine you are trying to force. Then restart the machine and it should grab the original IP.
If you are that concerned about keeping the same IP, just switch your network over to static IP assignments. |
