Proxy Server software needed!!!
Dear friends,
I wanted to share the internet connection I am having with other 4 computers over LAN. Can anyone suggest me the prosxy server software which is avaialble free of cost ? Please help me. Regards Srinath India |

If your using broadband, just get a broadband sharing router, They have gotten really affordable and solve all the issues U need when sharing like built in firewall, built in LAN switch, can do DHCP, and takes care of doing the connection to the broadband ISP so you don't need any other software on your PC... They R definately the way to go to share broadband...

The best free proxy server and one of the best regardless of price is Squid. But for your purposes, a router is probably best. The only reason for a proxy server would be to have a web filter on it.
