Java support for fresh install of XP Pro....

I just installed XP Pro on my machine, and it appears that even after updating to SP1 and doing Windows Update there is no Java with IE. Should I just install Java from the website, or what should I do?? When you just install Java on it's own I don't like how it acts as it's own little program and doesn't assimilate as well into Windows. Maybe this is my only choice.

Any help? Thanks.

To me JAVA turns itself on when it's needed and turns off when its not. What's so bad about that?

Nothing too bad about that... I just thought that sometimes it doesn't turn off automatically. Maybe I should pay more attention. Anyways, it works fine now, so thanks for the help.
