Want IE 5.5, but where do I find it?
Can anyone point me to a download site where I can get IE 5.5 with service packs preferably? Or can anyone be kind enough to send me the file?
TIA

Thank you, sir. Especially for the second link. The Canadian university site was telling me it would take 24 hours to download with my cable connection! The other is only 7 minutes.

Glad I could help. Yep, that first one was slow the last time I used it.

Well, when I try to open the file a Win32 error message says, There is not enough memory to open this application. Close a program and try again.
Of course, closing all programs doesn't do it. Any suggestions? TIA |

If you only have a 56K modem you may not want to spend the time downloading it so just get an AOL disk like I did. I don't know if it is on an AOL 8.0 disk but it is on a AOL 7.0 disk. It might be on other ISP disks as well.

Download it again, your download may be corrupted.

Redo was nice enough to zip his, redownload AIM and transfer the file to me. That took us four days or so to coordinate. Then the same day I load up M$ Picture It! Express 2001 and it has 5.5 on it! LOL
