Why is a 'cookie' called a 'cookie'?
Anybody know why a cookie is called a cookie? I can't figure it out. It doesn't look like a cookie, it doesn't taste like a cookie, it doesn't resemble any aspect of a cookie.....

Wow, I didn't think there was an actual reason why they were called that
![]() So, some of the early UNIX gods decided a cookie looked like a token and named it that..... very interesting. Thanks for the link! |
