My DSL & Kazaa don't mix

I have a DSL connection but when I use the downloading utility Kazaa, I am only able to download from 56k and below computers, obviously treating this PC as if it's connected via modem as well.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

Thanks

Do the other guys have DSL or cable? The drop-down box should show their own bandwidth. I believe the speed will be only as fast as the slowest one, so DSL +56k = 56k.

I agree with Sarge. I use Kazaa and have DSL. Your downloads/uploads are only as fast as the slowest connection (56k,dsl,cable).

Get rid of Kazaa and replace it with a better client.

"Shareaza" is a good recommendation, also "Gnucleus".
WinMX is great exclusivel for music files.

Don't want to offend, but Kazaa is crap

Use Kazaa Lite. It is much better and it has no spyware.

Kazaa Lite is the same as Kazaa. It just has the spyware removed as well as some added features. It uses the same server.

Use Kazaa K++. It's 100x better then the old one. There's an automatic Ip blocker that you can update to keep the bad ranges out. (riaa). You can get it at www.k-lite.tk
