I had a computer that died. I built a new one and installed the old HD in the new computer as a secondary drive just so I could get all the info needed off of it.
My question is: Is there a way to get email addresses that were in Outlook. Is there a file I can copy and move to the new outlook folder? How can I get the old email addresses back? Thanks.

X:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{long number here}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
This are were all your emails are stored. Just import these through outlook to get them back. ---------------- X:\windows\application data\microsoft\address book Import the file (.WAB) though outlook and you will get the addresses back. Note: "X:" being the primary directory on the old drive.

That's for Outlook Express. If you have Outlook, all mail and contacts are in the .pst file.
