I recently re-installed XP to my super-dooper upgraded machine, but I keep getting Scripting error messages in IE6, more often than not on various Microsoft.com pages. It askes me if I want to debug, but I wouldn't have a clue how to do that. Any ideas? I'm at work right now, so the exact details of the error messages elude me, but I could post them later this evening, if they crop up again.

It's got nothing to do with your computer. It's all poor code on websites.
In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced. Put a tick mark IN "disable script debugging". Take the tick mark OUT of "Display a notification about every script error". Then get the windows updates for IE. |
