Outlook Express: moving emails between identities

I have multiple Outlook Express "Identities" for my multiple e-mail accounts. Sometimes I have an e-mail in one identity that I would like to file in my other identity. How do I move an e-mail from one identity to another. (I know I can just e-mail it from one to the other, but I want to keep the e-mail header information untouched).

Give this a shot. Create a folder in OE that you can put the messages that you want to move from one idenity to another in. Copy the message(s) there and do an export for that folder only. Then, switch over to the other identity and import the messages.

Can also right click on mail and drag it out to your desk top. Switch ident and drag it back.

Thanks EzyStvy & Boone,

I tried the click and drag to the desktop method and that worked good for individual files. It did not work for folders, however. I tried the export method for folders, however, when I export the folder, I don't know where it exports the folder to, nor do I know the name of this folder (ie, can't do a search of my drive on it). Where should I look for this exported folder?

Thanks,
Marc

a much more simple way to deal with the problem would be to have one identity that has several accounts attached to it.
Then use the mail rules to filter the messages to different folders.
that way you would log on one time to check both accounts.. but the messages for one account would go to one folder while the messages for the other go to another folder.
This is the way I have it set up.. all my personal e-mail messages go to one folder, while my busniess e-mails go to another. they stay seperate from each other, but I can reply to a mail in either account with the account I choose.
