Internet not working on other computer! HELP!
Hello, me and my buddy have our computer hooked up to the same router, he can browse the net and connect to ICQ, AIM and whatnot, I can not. I can however, connect to his computer and browse through his computer.. so I'm thinking its just a setting that I need to change? the thing is that it was working fine yesterday, and now all the sudden it doesn't wanna work.. HELP! thanks!

Ensure that "Obtain IP address automatically" is on and "Obtain DNS server adress automatically" is on. With XP it is; Start > Control Panel > Network connections > Right click Local Area Connection > choose Properties > highlight TCP/IP and choose Properties.
