IE 6 in XP home edition

I don't know what I've done, but when I launch IE6 now or click on a link my browser is opening in a "less than maximized frame. I dislike this and have tried unsuccesfully to change the setting back to open all browser windows in full screen. Can anyone help me change this setting in IE 6/XP?

This usually works for me, right click on the icon then to properties and set it to open maximized

Yeah, on the IE Icon. Right Click > Properties > Then change the Run option to Maxamized.

This isn't working for me. The only IE icon that I have on the desktop is in the quiklaunch bar. It does not give me anything upon right clicking that resembles what you are directing me to do.

Hummmm, it works on my IE quick launch Icon...... Right click the IE Icon, choose 'Properties' from the pop up menu. Then in the 'Shortcut' Tab there should be a Menu called 'Run'. Change 'Normal Window' to 'Maxamized'

Go to Start/Programs and right click on IE, go down to properties and the choice should be there.

I have an oddity with that and this "usually" works... open IE... maximize it.. click on File, then Close. When you re-open... it will be (or should be) maximized. The only thing is this doesn't seem to work for when you click a link and it opens a new window.

I'm using Windows XP Classic Theme, could that be why you don't get the pop up menu I mentioned in my above posts?
