I am currently using Aol. (56k)
Question is>> not that I am complaining, I have not seen that dreadful screen, You have been online bla bla bla do you wish to stay on ("me>>hel? yea") haven't seen it for about 4 months. I am not running any programs like Stay On. I can leave my system on, and connected to aol, go to work, and at the end of the day when I get home, I am still connected. Once in a blue moon I might get disconneted,we are talking in weeks mind you. I connect at 52000 almost 100% of the time. I was just wondering for security reasons,banking etc. Any thoughts on the matter, would be much appreciated. The wife says it sounds like I am tryin to brag, but I assure u, this is not my intention. Thanks [Edited by DM on 12-28-2000 at 01:04 AM] |

If you don't have anything like Zonealarm running, I suggest you to do an "ipconfig /refresh" now and then (or reconnect).
