browser problem
have gateway with win98 se and ie 6.0
problem is had web sites i could access then all of a sudden cannot get to website get erro page if i take out the www will get to the website if i ping with www ping dies if i ping without www goes thru ok......did not change any thing have any ideas on what is causing my problems and what to do to fix it.thanks |

Do a find for hosts and report back what's listed.

Uninstall Broadband Wizard, or delete your hosts file.
Everything in there is blocked, which is why you can't get to any of those sites if you put the www in front. |

thanks for your expert help nver knew that that file even existed tried my isp they were of no help other then to tell
me i was the problem...works ok now thanks again.... |
