Help!! Stop the popup ads!!!

I've been getting these popup ads recently, and I can't seem to get rid of them...

I've tried Spybot Search and Destroy, Adware 6.0, and a virus scan, but they keep coming.

I also have a popup blocker too.

They come in the form of a security alert (plain looking window that says Messenger Service at the top), has a message, and an ok button (and also "x")

There are only two messages, one telling you to work from home, the other telling you to go to www.BYEBYEADS.com (an anti popup program's website). I find ironic that the program is advertised through a popup add.

Anyways, any ideas on how I can get rid of them?

Thanks!!

Send a message via AIM to FLG
1) Click on the Start button in the taskbar
2) Open Control Panels
3) Go to "Administrative Tools" (XP users may need to go to "Performance and Maintenance" first, then "Administrative Tools")
4) Double-click on "Services"
5) Scroll down to "Messenger"
6) Double-click on "Messenger"
7) Change the Startup type to "Disabled"
8) Click "Stop" to stop the service
