Hi,
Anybody know when I am online, is my IP address in a log file some where or is there a program that can log it. Basically I want to have a program that I can setup so that it periodically e-mails when it changes, as I have a cable modem, but in the UK I have a dynamic IP and it does change quite often. Any ideas, Scott |

While you are logged on, go to a command prompt, and type in ipconfig and press Enter. That will show you your currently-assigned IP address.

If you have Windows 95, go to Start/Run and type winipcfg
Actually, you could type that at a command prompt too, if you want. |

In Win2000 all you have to do is right click on your connection icon in the sys tray, cho0se status, and lastly click on the details tab.
