Source for non weird fonts ?
I am looking for some fonts in the mood of Tempus, Eras, Graphite Light etc. that are casual but not crazy,
and will pay for them. The search engines just lead to free font sites with a whole lot of super weird stuff. I am using these for letterheads, biz cards, logos for small businesses and some web page useage. Got any good sites ? Thanks. |

Thanks guys- I found the Microsoft fonts site which has closed but the links for lots of small independent foundries are still there. I'd copy them before they're deleted.
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/links/default.asp Also found a huge amount of fonts in the fonts folders that are on the driver CD's from old printers that I had previously owned. Accumulated 520 fonts in a few hours. A resource worth remembering. |

I have an old "10000 Fonts" CD back from the Win 3.1 days that I found in a clearance bin for $5.
