Question Can't start Outlook Express....

Ok Peeps,

Any time I try to get into O E I get the following error message: "Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to open the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance. (0x8007000E, 5)".

Then after you click OK you get this message: Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized. Outlook Express may not be installed correctly".

I tried re-installing Outlook Express twice ending with the same result.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Skinamo

Take a look at this page about OE msoe errors.

You probably just need to delete "folders.dbx" file but read that page and click on the "read the consequences" link before doing so.

Question

Thanks Miz,

I tried all that was suggested on that page but still have the same problem.

I saw the error messages that I am getting and tried the suggested fixes but nothing changed.

How do I uninstall and then reinstall Outlook Express?

Thanks,
Skinamo.
