Attachments
Please help
I am unable to open any attachments from my webmail accounts (eg. yahoo, hotmail or mail.com). The attachments are downloaded as unrecognised file formats. However I can download them successfully from my work pc. Your help will be highly appreciated! Kiv |

Webmail accounts usually have some kind of anti-virus or program set up to remove or change a email attachments (usually a .exe type file) to something harmless because of all the problems trojans have caused over the past few years. I don't know if you can get around this.

Can you see them but are unable to open them, or are the attachments not there at all?
