I Can't figure this one out fellas. For some unknown reason, when I am online, my computer just flat freezes up. I can't get the cursor to move or anything else. I have run both Spybot and Ad Aware. I have shut just about everything I can
down and it still does it. You can see my hardware below, as for software, I am running MSN8, and have IE6. If you need more info, let me know. Thorlo6

is this just a recent thing, or have you always had this problem?
try updating the drivers for your netowrk card... I had the same problem and it turns out the network card just didn't like my system.. and I had to get a new one. and that was back when a 10/100 card cost $60 |

The freezing up just started about a week to ten days ago. I couldn't ask for help sooner, because I work 7P to 7A seven days straight. I just got off work last Wednesday morning. Thorlo6

You're probably running Win 98.2, eh? I developed the same problem a couple of months ago or so. I figured it was time for a fresh re-install, but I switched (finally) over to XP Pro instead. I'm very happy with it.
