Question AIM messed up

AOL Instant Messenger just quit running on my computer. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled. When I was going through the install process a message popped up that said:

"GLJ107.tmp - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point ?tokenToIndexNumber@expatpp@@QAEHPBD@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library xmlparse.dll."

I just clicked ok and the box went away and finished installing. Now when I try to open AIM, it just says "Connecting..." and nothing ever happens. Anyone encountered this before? I'm not sure what to do. I've already uninstalled it 3 times.
