Domain Registrar Selection
I am looking for a reliable and cost effective domain registrar for the small busniess I work for. I also need them to provide a URL Forwarding service.
I searched the forums and there are related topics. However, most of them are a bit outdated (2001). Currently we have Netowork Solutions as our registrar. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive. I am not looking for the cheapest out there but there has got to be a something more cost effective than NS. I am looking to register around 50 domain names for a period of 2 yrs. My boss said a friend of his recommended www.thriftys.com. I've never heard of it. It appears that they are not reliable since I sent them an email inquiring about their services last week and they still haven't contected me yet. If the forum rules prohibits posting the name of the domain registrar, you can send me a PCMech PM or email (james_8547@yahoo.com). Any suggestions / comments are welcome. Please share some of your experiences with domain regsitrars. TIA

I have about 30 or so domains with GoDaddy. They are the best and one of the cheapest.

We switched our domains over to GoDaddy from Network Solutions last year - and we are very pleased. Everything is self-service and automated.
