Has anybody used the corporate/server edition of Norton AntiVirus. I need something that will allow me to monitor virus scans across my network and also make sure that definitions are upto date. Also I want it to notify my if there is a virus found somewhere. I have looked around and NAV Corporate seems my best bet. What do you think? THanks, Ian.

I'm using it and it's great. We set up a batch that runs when users click on it and it autoupdates the dat file.

I haven't used NAV in the past year, so this may be moot now, but the only thing I recommend is turning off the quarantine feature.
Many viruses were aimed at this little function of NAV, and we got hit at the ISP I worked for. Picture a virus that isn't really that nasty a virus, but only slightly modifies Rundll32.exe or explorer.exe, and leaves a big flashing sign for NAV that says "quarantine my whole OS please" .I don't know if Symantec has addressed this, but it cost us four NT 4 workstations at the ISP I worked for last year.
