Sending HTML messages with Outlook

hey kids,

i tried sending a message written in HTML with Outlook. All the tables, colors, etc. came out fine with the exception of a picture I had hyperlinked to. the code was (img src="http://www.tamiu.edu/success/fyspeNewslogo2.gif"). outlook won't let me mess around with the code. in the img src portion it displays (img src=cid:then a whole bunch of letters and numbers).

in short, my question...is there any way to manipulate the code in outlook so that i may change this portion of the img src code. i tried right-clicking and selecting view source in the message body, notepad pops up, i change the code, save it, but it doesn't work anyhow.

please let me know if u need any clarifacation. thanks....
